Day 0: Arrival, Tour Briefing and Resting

  • You will be picked up from Zanzibar Airport and be transferred to the booked hotel in Zanzibar
  • Get the safari general briefing from the prepared safari consultant/guide

Dinner and overnight at Shangani Hotel or Similar

Dinner Meals: Included HB

Day 1: Transfer from Zanzibar to Stone Town

  • Have a breakfast early in the morning and the transfer from Zanzibar to Stone Town for city tour
  • Our professional guides will be guiding you to Stone Town street to view the beautiful environment of the area
  • Break for a while in the afternoon to have lunch in Stone Town Restaurants
  • Afterward continue with town tour in Stone Town until evening

Dinner and overnight at The Island Town Hotel or Similar

Dinner Meals: FB, Lunch, Dinner, bed and breakfast

Day 2: Full Jozani forest and Dolphins Tour

  • Early in the morning around 06:00 you will be picked up from your Hotel for full day Jozani Forest and Kizimkazi Dolphins tour
  • Break for a while in the afternoon to have lunch at Kizimkazi Restaurant
  • After lunch our guide will take you to explore the nature at Jozani forest.
  • Have chance to spot Red collobus monkey in Jozani Forest

Dinner and overnight at Maars Resort or Similar

Dinner Meals: FB, Lunch, Dinner, bed and breakfast

Day 3: Full day Stone Town shopping and Spice Farms Tour

  • After breakfast early in the morning pick up around 08:00 for City Tour
  • Visit the historic sites of Stone Town and shopping in the Antique and gift shops
  • Break for a while in the afternoon to have lunch at Mtoni Marine Restaurant
  • After lunch proceed to Spice farms looking for spices and tropical fruits
  • Have a taste of beautiful spice and tropical fruits in the area and also be able to smell spice which are locally used to make local perfumes in the area

Dinner and overnight at The Island Town Hotel or Similar

Dinner Meals: FB, Lunch, Dinner, bed and breakfast

Day 4: Depart from Zanzibar either by Zanzibar Airport/Sea Port

  • Have an early breakfast at a hotel in Zanzibar
  • Leave you to rest for a while in Zanzibar Beaches
  • Afterward depending on your departure time leave Zanzibar either by Seaport/Airport to catch your flight back home or continuing with other arrangements

Other Safari Important Notes

  1. ELECTRICITY
    All lodges and camps will have electricity although many work off generators with limited times.

The power supply in Tanzania is nominally 240VAC, 50hz. Variable voltage, spikes and sporadic, unexpected, unscheduled power cuts of varying duration can be expected.

  1. INTERNAL FLIGHTS/BAGGAGE
    Please note each passenger is only allowed a total of 15kgs of checked and carry-on luggage combined, and must be in small soft-sided bags. This is strictly enforced by airlines and outside of our control. extra luggage can be left in storage in Arusha (by arrangement prior to travel
  2. YELLOW FEVER
    It may be required to show a Yellow Fever certificate upon entering the country visited. Please check in with your local health expert for advice on Yellow Fever and other inoculations required for this area.
  3. ACCOMMODATION
    Please note all accommodation listed below is not guaranteed, but is indicative of the types of accommodation used.
  4. COMBO TRIP
    Please note that this tour combines with other Sunset Budget Safaris and Travel to Tanzania. As such, the staff and some travel companions on your tour may have previously been traveling together with Sunset Budget Safaris and Travel, prior to Day 1 of your tour. Likewise, some staff and travel companions may be continuing together on another Sunset Budget Safaris and Travel, after your trip concludes.
