- You will be picked up from the airport in Dar es Salaam ( Julius Nyerere International Airport) and be transferred to the booked hotel in Dar es Salaam

Day 1: Drive from Dar es Salaam to Selous Game Reserve for a game drive
Time: 4 h 5 min
Distance: 220.0 km
Enroute Attraction: Wild animals and small bushes can be encountered
- Pick up from the hotel in Dar es Salaam, you will then drive down south to Selous Game Reserve for a game drive
- At 55 000 square km, Selous is the largest protected game reserve in the world
- It is named after legendary British hunter-explorer Frederick Courtney Selous, who was killed here during WW1
- Selous boasts Tanzania’s largest population of Elephant as well as large numbers of herds of Buffalo, Hippo, Crocodile, Wild Dog, a variety of 440 species of birds, over 2000 variety of plants, hot volcanic springs, lagoons, the great Rufiji River and the diverse landscape makes Selous Game Reserve a World Heritage Site.
- Other species commonly seen are Lion, Bushbuck, Impala, Giraffe, Eland, Baboon, Zebra and greater Kudu
- Continue with the game drive until evening

Day 2&3: Full day game drive at Selous Game Reserve
- Have an early breakfast at your hotel in Selous and afterward leave for a full day game drive
- Start the day with a Tanzania walking safari accompanied by an armed game ranger
- Thereafter, proceed with a game drive with packed picnic lunch provided
- Break for a while to have lunch in the afternoon in the park
- After lunch continue with an afternoon game drive until evening

Day 4: Drive to Mikumi National Park for a game drive

- Have an early breakfast at your hotel and drive to Mikumi for a game drive
- Full day exploring Mikumi National Park looking for lions, leopard, and other large game
- There is fantastic birding in Mikumi and you will see many raptors during your stay
- Break for a while in the afternoon to have lunch
- Continue with an afternoon game drive after lunch until evening
Dinner and overnight at Mikumi Wildlife Lodge or Similar

Day 5: Drive from Mikumi to Ruaha for a game drive
Distance: 231 km
Enroute Attraction: Wild animals and small bushes can be encountered
- After breakfast early in the morning drive to Ruaha for a game drive
- Upon arrival there perform a game drive to see the wilderness of Ruaha National Park
- In the afternoon break for a while to have picnic lunch in the park
- After lunch continue with an afternoon game drive until evening

Day 6 & 7: Full day game drive at Ruaha National Park
- Have an early breakfast at your hotel and leave for a full day game drive at Ruaha
- Continue with game drive until afternoon

Day 8: Game drive at Mikumi National Park

- After lunch continue with late afternoon game drive until evening

Day 9: Drive to Udzungwa Mountain National Parks for a game drive

- Early in the morning after breakfast then drive to Udzungwa Mountain National Parks for a full day game viewing
- The Red Colubus and the Sanje crested Manabrey, Elephants, Buffalos, Leopards, and Sable antelopes are some of the residents in this park
- Break in the afternoon to have picnic lunch
- Afterward continue with a game drive until evening
Dinner and overnight at Udzungwa Falls Lodge or Similar

Day 10: Half day game drive at Udzungwa then drive to Dar es Salaam

- Have an early breakfast at Udzungwa and have a morning game viewing
- After the game viewing transfer to Dar es Salaam with lunch on the way

- ELECTRICITY
All lodges and camps will have electricity although many work off generators with limited times.
The power supply in Tanzania is nominally 240VAC, 50hz. Variable voltage, spikes and sporadic, unexpected, unscheduled power cuts of varying duration can be expected.
- INTERNAL FLIGHTS/BAGGAGE
Please note each passenger is only allowed a total of 15kgs of checked and carry-on luggage combined, and must be in small soft-sided bags. This is strictly enforced by airlines and outside of our control. extra luggage can be left in storage in Arusha (by arrangement prior to travel - YELLOW FEVER
